What Christ Thinks of the Church: Revelation 1-3

Location: Fireside Room

Originally delivered to the seven churches of Asia Minor, the first three chapters of Revelation reveal what Christ wants his church to be like – in all places and at all times. This class will take an eight-part DVD tour of the book of Revelations’ seven churches. Travel to modern Turkey, now 98% Muslim, but once the center of New Testament Christianity.  Visit the ancient cities to learn the stories of these churches. In addition, through historical information, Bible exploration and discussion, we will discover the message and insights the letters hold for our church today. We will investigate how the people of these churches faced many of the same issues that confront contemporary Christians. God’s priorities haven’t changed. What might Christ say to His church today?

 

Just Walk Across the Room
